Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rokonujjaman Selim is an internationally acclaimed cardiovascular surgeon with extensive training across Asia, Europe, and North America. His career spans over two decades, marked by continuous pursuit of excellence in cardiac surgical techniques.

With a foundation from Chittagong Medical College (1999) and advanced training in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery from NICVD, Dhaka (2008), Dr. Selim has augmented his expertise through prestigious international fellowships. His commitment to global standards is evidenced by his memberships in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow (2020) and the American College of Surgeons (2021).

Dr. Selim specializes in Minimal Invasive Cardiac Surgery for both adults and children, employing techniques that reduce recovery time and improve patient outcomes. His international fellowships at renowned institutions including Fortis Escorts Hospital (India), Seoul National University Hospital (South Korea), National Heart Institute (Malaysia), Leicester Children’s Hospital (UK), and most recently in Aortic Surgery at SIMS Hospital (India) have equipped him with diverse, cutting-edge surgical approaches.
